HCC has got sufficient bed for emergency medical treatment & fully equipped with all facilities including anti-dotes to handle any emergency. HCC has received many international, national and state level awards for outstanding performance in the field of safety.

• National Safety Council, New Delhi, in the years 1988, 1989, 1992, 1997, 2001, 2002, 2005 & 2006.


• Gujarat State Safety Council, in the years 1989, 1997, 1999, 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 & 2007.

HCC is fully committed to the environment. HCC has full-fledged continuous effluent treatment plant and this unique process for the detoxification of cyanide effluent has been developed in HCC’s R & D and all the effluents are discharged after adequate treatment as per norms required. In addition, HCC has planted more than 20,000 trees inside the factory premises to develop greenery & improve environment.
